OUR PRIVATE POLICY

Puppy Sales & Contract Terms

We reserve the right to refuse the sale of any puppy to any individual at any time prior to the puppy leaving our care. We are not required to provide a reason for such a decision.

Puppy Care Before Going Home

All puppies will receive appropriate care and preparation before leaving our home, including:

  • Regular deworming treatments.
  • First age-appropriate vaccinations.
  • Microchipping.
  • A complete health evaluation by our veterinarian.
  • Routine veterinary examinations to ensure each puppy is healthy and ready for its new home.
  • Appropriate nail/claw care prior to going home.

Our puppies are raised with their health and well-being as our highest priority.

Spay/Neuter Requirement

All puppies sold as pets or companions are sold under a mandatory spay/neuter contract. Pet/companion puppies must be spayed or neutered by six (6) months of age.

The buyer is required to provide written proof from a licensed veterinarian confirming that the procedure has been completed no later than seven (7) months of age.

Failure to comply with this requirement constitutes a breach of the purchase agreement and may give us the legal right to require the puppy’s return at the buyer’s expense. We reserve the right to pursue appropriate legal remedies to ensure the safe return of the puppy.

A written contract acknowledging and agreeing to the spay/neuter requirement must be signed before the puppy may leave our care.

Breeding Rights

Full breeding rights are available only to carefully approved breeders. We take great pride in our breeding program and bloodlines and are committed to protecting our puppies from irresponsible or excessive breeding.

Breeding rights are not automatically included with the purchase of a puppy and must be specifically approved by us in advance.

Veterinary Examination & Health Guarantee

The buyer must have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within three (3) days of receiving the puppy. Failure to complete this examination within the required timeframe will void the health guarantee.

The buyer must retain written documentation of this examination and keep a copy with the puppy’s records.

If, within this initial three-day period, the buyer’s veterinarian determines that the puppy has a serious illness covered under our health guarantee, the buyer may request an exchange, subject to the terms of the health guarantee and the puppy being returned to us.

If no suitable puppy remains available from the current litter, the buyer will receive first pick from the next available litter of the same breed/type, subject to availability.

We do not provide monetary refunds for puppies under any circumstances. In the event of a qualifying serious health condition covered by our health guarantee, our remedy is replacement of the puppy in accordance with the terms outlined above.

Ongoing Health & Veterinary Care

Once the puppy leaves our care, the buyer assumes responsibility for maintaining the puppy’s health and well-being.

The buyer agrees to:

  • Provide appropriate and timely veterinary care.
  • Keep all vaccinations and required preventive treatments current.
  • Schedule a veterinary examination at least annually.
  • Maintain accurate veterinary records and provide documentation when required under the health guarantee.
  • Feed the puppy a high-quality, nutritionally appropriate diet.
  • Maintain the puppy at a healthy weight.

We are not responsible for contagious illnesses or diseases contracted after the puppy leaves our care.

Buyers should use caution when exposing young puppies to unfamiliar dogs or environments. Dog parks and contact with dogs that are not fully vaccinated or properly dewormed may expose a puppy to infectious diseases and other health risks.

Lifetime Return Policy

We require every buyer to sign an agreement stating that if, at any point during the puppy’s lifetime, they are no longer able to care for or keep the dog, the dog must be returned to us.

Our goal is to ensure that none of our puppies ever ends up in a shelter, rescue organization, or unsuitable home.

We take lifelong responsibility for the puppies we produce and will always accept the return of one of our puppies, regardless of its age or the circumstances.

If a returned dog is an older dog and is suitable for placement, we maintain a list of elderly individuals who are interested in providing a loving home to an older companion. When appropriate, these dogs may be placed with qualified individuals at no charge.

Our commitment does not end when a puppy leaves our home. We believe every dog we produce deserves a safe, loving, and permanent home throughout its entire life.
